Privacy Policy
BudgetWed stores the information you enter so you can plan a wedding budget. This page describes the data the application actually handles. No company address or public support email is configured.
What is stored
Account email, display name, password hash or OAuth identity, plan, and administrator flag. Wedding records: name, date, currency, target budget, venue and catering notes. Financial records: expenses, paid amounts, deposits, vendors, contributions, and loans. Guest names, RSVP, meal, dietary notes, and seating. Planning tasks.
Who can see it
Wedding, financial, and guest records are scoped to the signed-in account that created them. Other accounts cannot read or change them. Administrators can see account lists and wedding summaries in the admin panel. They cannot grant themselves access to another account’s records through the ordinary dashboard.
Retention and deletion
Records stay until you delete them, delete the wedding, or delete the account. Deleting the account removes the user, profile, weddings, expenses, vendors, guests, seating, and tasks. There is no separate backup download inside the app. Hosted database backups, if any, are controlled by the database provider and are not exposed here.
POPIA and GDPR
You can access your records while signed in, correct them in the dashboard, and delete the account from Settings. Processing is limited to running the wedding budget you requested. Do not enter information you are not allowed to share, including other people’s sensitive data.
Contact
Support is handled from the signed-in account. No public support email or postal address is configured for this application.
